Terms of Service

Last updated 8 September 2026

1. About these terms

ReleaseNav ("the Service") is a workspace that helps independent music artists plan releases, generate promotional assets, pitch to curators, and track results. By creating an account you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Your account

You need an email address and password to use ReleaseNav. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. You must be old enough to enter a binding agreement in your country. You can delete your account at any time from Account settings, which permanently removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

3. Acceptable use

  • Only upload music, lyrics, artwork, and text that you own or are licensed to use.
  • Do not use the Service to send spam, impersonate other artists, or misrepresent who created a track.
  • Do not attempt to break, overload, or reverse engineer the Service, or use it to violate the terms of any connected platform.

4. Your content and AI-generated output

You keep all rights to the material you upload. We process it only to run the features you use. Cover art, videos, pitch texts, and press releases generated through ReleaseNav are yours to use, subject to the terms of the underlying AI providers. AI output can be inaccurate or resemble existing work: you are responsible for reviewing it before publishing, and for confirming that you may distribute it commercially.

Content marked "AI-generated" in ReleaseNav comes from these models: cover art from Google's Gemini image model, served through Lovable's AI infrastructure; video concepts from the Kling video model, served through fal.ai; and press release drafts from Anthropic's Claude model.

You generally own what these tools produce. AI output still carries some legal uncertainty across the industry, because the training data behind these models isn't fully documented. Before an official commercial release, check that the result doesn't closely resemble existing copyrighted work.

5. Third-party services

ReleaseNav relies on external providers to deliver certain features, including Anthropic (pitch and press-release text), Google Gemini (cover art), fal.ai (video generation and media processing), Cyanite (track analysis, currently paused), Firecrawl (press-mention search), the YouTube Data API (channel and video statistics), Meta (Instagram and Facebook insights), Google Search Console and Google Analytics 4 (website search and visitor numbers), Sveriges Radio (airplay data), and Lovable Emails (email delivery). If you accept non-essential cookies, anonymous usage statistics about the ReleaseNav website and app are also sent to Google Analytics 4, as described in the privacy policy. Their own terms apply to the processing they perform. We are not responsible for decisions made by curators, distributors, playlists, or advertising platforms.

6. Plans and payment

Paid plans are billed in advance for the period shown at checkout. AI generation limits per plan are listed on the pricing page. You can cancel at any time; your plan then remains active until the end of the paid period. We do not provide refunds for unused time unless required by law. Payments are processed by Paddle, which acts as merchant of record for all orders and handles billing, invoices and taxes.

7. Availability and liability

The Service is provided "as is". We work to keep it available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service, specific promotional results, stream counts, playlist placements, or radio airplay. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months before the claim.

8. Changes and termination

We may update these terms as the Service evolves and will change the date above when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms.

9. Contact

Questions about these terms, or about your data, can be sent through our contact form. See also our Privacy Policy.
